Sliding doors are the quiet alternative to bi-folds: more glass, fewer frames, and a view that stays put. We make them to your opening and supply direct at trade prices.
When the view matters more than the party trick, sliders beat bi-folds. A two-pane slider puts one slim vertical line across the whole opening where a bi-fold puts four or five; closed — which is most of the year in Britain — a slider is simply a bigger window.
We manufacture aluminium in-line sliding doors to your structural opening: two, three or four panes, with panels comfortably up to around three metres tall, running on stainless tracks with multi-point locking. The interlock — the meeting stile between the panes — is the slimmest part of the door, and it's where aluminium earns its money.
As with everything we supply, the set arrives complete and ready to install: frame, sashes, toughened units, track, gaskets and hardware, in any RAL colour you choose.
Two, three or four panes
A classic two-pane slider gives one fixed, one sliding. Three-pane sets can slide from either end or stack two-thirds of the opening clear; four-pane sets meet in the middle for a near bi-fold-sized opening without the concertina. We'll configure around your opening sizes and how you use the room.
Glass first, frame second
Sliding doors carry the largest individual glass units of anything on this site, so glass specification does the heavy lifting: toughened as standard, with solar-control and acoustic options for south-facing or roadside elevations. Ask when you send your sizes and we'll quote the options side by side.
Thresholds, tracks and security
Standard and low-threshold options are available depending on your floor build-up, with multi-point locks and anti-lift detailing as standard. Because we build to your sizes, the door you get is the door your opening needs — not the nearest stock size padded out on site.

Sliding doors or bi-folds — how do I choose?
Sliders for the view and for openings you'll mostly keep closed: fewer vertical frames, bigger glass, slimmer look. Bi-folds for genuinely opening the whole wall in summer. Many projects pair a slider on the main elevation with a bi-fold or traffic door elsewhere.
What's the maximum size for a sliding patio door?
Individual panels can run to around three metres tall, with overall widths built from two, three or four panes. Very large openings are usually better as a 3- or 4-pane set — send your structural opening and we'll configure the options with prices.
Do the doors come with glass and hardware?
Yes — every set is supplied complete with toughened double-glazed units, track, gaskets, handles and locking, ready for your fitter to install.
Can sliding doors have a low threshold?
Yes. Low-threshold options are available where you want a flush transition; we'll advise on drainage detailing for your floor build-up when you order.
Do you supply anthracite grey sliding doors?
Anthracite grey (RAL 7016) is our most-ordered colour, but every set is powder-coated to order — any RAL colour, including dual colour inside and out.
